[ARCHIVED] County of San Diego Seeking Damage Information from April 5 - April 10, 2020 Rain Event

County of San Diego Logo

During the April 5 - April 10, 2020 rain event, many homes and businesses were impacted by flooding. The County of San Diego is seeking damage information from individuals and businesses affected by this storm. This information will be used to establish damage throughout the County and determine if this event qualifies for U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Disaster Loans. SBA Disaster Loans are intended to provide funding for the repair or replacement of primary residences or businesses in order to support economic revitalization.  Report your storm damage by completing the Damages Resulting from Disaster Form

Completion of this form does not guarantee disaster assistance will be received nor does it guarantee individual eligibility. In order for the SBA to conduct a damage assessment of San Diego County, we must demonstrate that a certain number of homes and/or businesses sustained at least 40% of uninsured damages to their primary residence or business.  The SBA Disaster Loans program offers low-interest, long-term loans to individuals and businesses for losses as the result of a disaster; these losses must not be fully covered by insurance or other means.

If you have any questions regarding the information being collected on this form please email oes@sdcounty.ca.gov.

This information is provided as a service to our community. Heartland Fire & Rescue does not have any additional information. Please contact the County of San Diego at the email above for additional information.
